Since 1981

Started with
one truck.

Bill Meiborg. One truck. West Coast produce. 1981. Everything Meiborg Brothers is today grew from that single commitment to do the job right.

Years Strong

The Meiborg Standard

Four pillars.
Zero compromise.

Everything we do ladders up to four commitments. They're not aspirations — they're standards we hold ourselves to every day.

Equipment

Newest fleet in the Midwest. Average truck age under 3 years. Every unit maintained by our own shop — Meiborg Enterprises. Breakdowns don't wait.

People

Drivers, ops, leadership — selected, not settled for. Low driver-to-leader ratios. Real open-door policy. Tenure that speaks for itself.

Infrastructure

3.5 million square feet. Seven warehouses. Airport on-site. Rail connected. Two markets — Rockford and Houston. Enterprise scale, family accountability.

Reliability

98.7% on-time. Survived the 2024 freight recession without cutting corners. When others were folding, we were running. That's the track record.

Our Journey

43 years of
doing it right.

1981

One Truck. One Man. One Mission.

Bill Meiborg starts with a single truck hauling produce from the West Coast. No office, no fleet, no fancy plan — just hard work and a handshake.

1990s

The Fleet Grows

Word gets around that Meiborg delivers — literally. The fleet expands, warehousing operations begin in Rockford, and the company builds a reputation for reliability in the Midwest.

2010

Zach Takes the Wheel

Zach Meiborg takes over leadership from his father. The mission doesn't change — the scale does. The fleet modernizes, the warehouse footprint expands, and the company starts thinking bigger.

2012

Silver Arrow Express Acquisition

Meiborg acquires Silver Arrow Express, adding capacity, lanes, and talent. The fleet crosses 300 trucks.

2020s

Building the Standard

3.5 million sq ft of warehouse space. Airport-connected. Rail-connected. 550+ trucks. The company navigates the 2024 freight recession without cutting corners or laying off drivers.

2024

Midwest Express Joins the Family

Meiborg acquires Midwest Express, expanding reach and capacity. The fleet pushes past 550 trucks with 800+ trailers.

Today

The Standard Others Measure Against

Family-owned. Driver-focused. Shipper-trusted. Meiborg Brothers isn't the biggest carrier — they're the one that does it right.

“My dad started this company with one truck and a commitment to doing the job right. Nothing about that has changed — except the scale.”

What Sets Us Apart

In an industry of rollups,
we're still family.

Meiborg Brothers truck fleet

Family-Owned Since 1981

In an era of private equity rollups and faceless megas, Meiborg is still owned and operated by the family that built it.

Meiborg Enterprises.
Our secret weapon.

Most trucking companies outsource their repairs. We built our own full-service diesel truck repair and towing operation — Meiborg Enterprises. Same campus. Same family. When a truck needs attention, our mechanics handle it. No third-party delays. No finger-pointing. Just fast, quality work.
